Football Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game winning run came to an end by Sunderland before the global hiatus, however can the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Spurs this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of guests.
For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
Murs' latest album, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Soccer and Family Experiences
Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several charity football games over time - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a player.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "My team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."
Murs and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't force football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their weekend football side," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our team for two or three years and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their offense is already more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this fixture will be quite tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
Olly's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their past two games - although both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' only away victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was still that team's manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - can the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?
I am going to choose the Cherries, because I think what occurred against Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
The guest's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four games.
A family member advised me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had much success on the road this term, and the Seagulls are always strong at home. Brentford will try to hit them on the break but I feel the home manager's team carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.
Fulham have got plenty of talent in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
As for Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far.
Their performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not seen any other team rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The logical choice would be to back the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the close of last month.
But I am not do that. Instead, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good results because they evidently enjoy to prove me wrong.
Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the sole team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be extremely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

It is a hard one to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but could they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
